graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in English, minors in biology and French, and a Certificate of Editing and Publishing. He writes contemporary and fantasy fiction that focuses on themes of cultural inheritance and queer identity.​ When he's not at his desk, you can find him birding, road-tripping, or undertaking various crafting projects.
